Hawaii Pacific Health is a non-profit healthcare organization formed with the merger of three longtime Hawaii health systems, Wilcox Health, Kapi`olani Health, and Straub Clinic & Hospital. Hawaii Pacific Health is one of the state's largest healthcare systems, with a network of four hospitals, 24 outpatient centers, and 1,100 physicians on four islands. In addition to providing care on Oahu, Kauai, Lanai, and the Big Island, we also care for patients and visitors throughout the state and the Pacific Region.
Commitment to caring for our communities
A shared mission and vision, to provide the highest quality health care and services to the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Region, brought our three organizations together.
The merger of Straub, Wilcox, and Kapi`olani formed a health system with the financial strength to provide the finest healthcare, as well as investment in new services and technology. As one combined organization, Hawaii Pacific Health realizes greater economies of scale and operational efficiencies to manage the financial pressures facing every healthcare provider today.
Building on a history of excellence
Kapi`olani, Straub, and Wilcox share a rich history in the islands dating back generations. Together, the three affiliates have cared for Hawaii’s families for over 250 years, and have led the way in many specialty areas including cardiology, pediatrics, and maternity care. Building upon this clinical excellence, our physicians and hospitals will expand services with a focus on women’s and cardiac health, creating centers of excellence for the people of Hawaii and the Pacific Region.
