Caregiver – Direct Care Associate – Healthcare & Nursing Assistant

Job Responsibilities

As a Caregiver, you will work as part of a team of healthcare professionals to ensure the consistent well being of our residents. While you will not be administering medical care, you will provide bedside and personal care, such as ambulation or personal hygiene assistance.

Additional responsibilities for the Caregiver include:

• Performing housekeeping duties
• Performing healthcare-related tasks, such as monitoring vital signs and medication
• Transporting residents to locations outside the home, such as community events and group outings
• Instructing or advising residents on issues such as cleanliness, hygiene and nutrition

As a Caregiver at Danville Service Corporation, we do not require you to have any professional experience with developmentally disabled individuals. We maintain that if you are a compassionate and lively person, who enjoys working and spending time with unique people, then being a Danville Caregiver will be a personally fulfilling and exciting position!

Additional requirements of the Caregiver include:

• Passing a fingerprinted background check
• Having a valid Arizona driver’s license and a good driving record
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
