RN / Registered Nurse / Homecare

Looking for RNs to service Carroll, Baltimore and Harford Counties. Position is ideal for people looking for part-time work to supplement their existing job or to stay involved in the field with very reduced hours ( RN positions is ideal for stay at home moms or recent retirees, day time, part-time Hours and one weekend a month, visits only). Duties include but are not limited to: - Conduct new client assessments (RN)
- Develop plan of care based on health history and assessment (RN)
- Provide on-going care, and implement plan of care
- Provide:
- wound care
- IV antibiotics
- home education and training
- blood draws
- trach care
- vent care
- general care
- supervison of GNAs and CNAs during shift work
- Conduct patient and family teaching assignments on new medical devices and drugs
- Provide detailed and timely documentation of assessment and on-going care
- No OASIS forms, simple documentation
RN / Registered Nurse / Homecare
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
- Active MD State RN or LPN license
- Minimum of 2 or more years of RN experience
- Demonstrated superior customer service skills
- Demonstrated ability to make good judgements about client care. Requires the ability to appropriately troubleshoot and escalate where necessary
- Experience with wound care and IV antibiotics (RNs)
- Certification in wound care and IVs is preferable but not required
- MD State Drivers License
- Demonstrated Problem Solving Skills
- Proof of a PPD (TB test ) with-in the last 12 months and a physical in the last year are required at time of hire
- Current CPR certificate required
- IV and Wound Care certification preferred but not required
