We are currently recruiting for the following positions:
Hospital Billing Representative:
High School graduate or equivalent level of training. One year practical experience in Hospital Collections/Billing preferred. One year practical experience in computer usage.
Physician Claims Collector
High school graduate or equivalent level of training. One year experience in Healthcare Collections, Hospital or Physician setting, Experience working with Medicare/Medicaid, Replacement Plans, Managed Care Contracts, HMOs, Commercial and Worker Compensation claims. Customer service skills are a must for this position. One year of experience in hospital patient access will be considered, insurance verification, financial counseling, patient registration and scheduling.. Computer literate and basic Microsoft Word and Excel experience preferred. Use of various payer online claims tools is a plus.
Specialty Collector (Medicare & Medicaid)
High School Graduate. One year working with Medicare/Medicaid Billing and/or Collections. Knowledge of CMS Guidelines. Understanding of Direct Data Entry (DDE) system.
Certified Professional Coder (CPC or CPC-A) by AAPC
One year of experience in Coding and Billing. Proficiency in medical terminology and CPT (current procedural terminology), training in human anatomy and/or pathophysiology. Work from home after completion of probation. Must be available to work onsite during first three months.
High School graduate; College degree preferred. Five years management/supervising experience required. Strong knowledge of physician medical insurance billing, coding, and claim follow-up. Experience with CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS coding and medical terminology. Customer service skills are a must for this position. Computer literate and basic Microsoft Word and Excel experience. CPC, CCS, or CCS-P certification preferred.
