Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Certified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house therapy team. The OT will be responsible for evaluating, planning, and implementing individualized treatment plans to help residents regain and improve their ability to perform daily living and work activities following injury, illness, or surgery.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct evaluations to assess residents' functional status and rehabilitation potential.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and physician's orders.
• Use therapeutic exercises, functional activities, and adaptive equipment to improve residents' abilities.
• Document resident progress, attendance, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members including physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nursing staff, and social workers.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and strategies to maintain or improve function.
• Comply with all federal, state, and facility policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

• Current and valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy program.
• Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT).
• Previous experience in a subacute or long-term care setting preferred, but not required.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
