The Administrator is responsible for overall management of the hospice company while keeping in mind the program’s goals of quality patient care and judicious use of resources. The Administrator must coordinate all aspects of the program into a smoothly functioning organization dedicated to excellence in care and support of the dying patient and their family. The Admin/DON will supervise staff, facilitate IDT meetings, and will inform staff of new policies and procedures. The Admin/DON is also responsible for recruitment, retention, and training of the nurses; and other clinical staff. Will also be responsible for overall direction and guidance of all patient care services.
