This is a contracted faculty position governed by the policies and procedures outlined in the faculty and staff handbook. The Associate AASN (Associate of Applied Science in Nursing) Program Director of the Youngstown location, under the guidance of the Assistant Dean of Nursing, Youngstown and the AASN Program Director Toledo, assumes responsibility for all educational activities in the AASN nursing programs at the Youngstown location.
Required Minimum Education: BSN
Graduate Degree (Masters): MSN
At least two years of experience in the practice of nursing as a registered nurse and at least two years of experience as a nursing faculty member. Knowledge of supervision, instruction, and evaluation.; skillful in interpersonal, oral, and written communication; competent is appropriate use of computer technology and software, including MS Excel, MS WORD, PowerPoint, electronic email and the internet; and knowledge of the Ohio Board of Nursing regulations and accreditation standards.
Current unencumbered Ohio Registered Nurse license
