Bilingual Clinical Therapist (PSB)

Job Description

NAFI CT is a non for profit, human services agency seeking clinical MST therapists to implement evidence based practices with a : Master’s degree in counseling (LPC eligible), marriage and family therapy (LMFT eligible), psychology,  social work (LMSW or LCSW eligible), or related field required. Will consider bachelor’s level Bilingual (Spanish) speaking applicants with commensurate experience.



1-2 years of work experience in any combination of the following:



• In-Home/Community Based Therapy
• Crisis Management
• Mental Health Treatment
• Substance Use Treatment
• Family Therapy
• Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
• Motivational Interviewing
• Contingency Management
• Working with youth  and families within the Criminal Justice System



Job Description:



• Provide intensive in-home family therapy to adolescents at risk of out-of-home placement utilizing the Multisystemic Therapy Model for Youth with Problem Sexual Behavior (Training in  MST  and MST-PSB model provided upon hire)
• Handle a caseloads of 4 clients providing an average of  3 sessions a week
• Conduct Mental Health and Substance Use Assessments
• Facilitate treatment planning
• Travel and  participate in on-call rotation

About NAFI and MST



NAFI CT is seeking dynamic clinicians to provide in-home family therapy to adolescents at
risk of out-of-home placement utilizing the Multisystemic Therapy for  Youth with Problem Sexual Behavior model. Multisystemic Therapy for Youth with Problem Sexual Behavior (MST- PSB) is a clinical adaptation of Multisystemic Therapy that has been specifically designed and developed to treat youth (and their respective families) for problematic sexual behavior. MST-PSB is an evidence-based model which provides therapists with high levels of clinical training including weekly group supervision and consultation. Therapists carry caseloads of 4 clients, provide intensive in-home family therapy and case management, conduct assessments, facilitate treatment planning, participate in training and deliver services with fidelity to the MST-PSB model. We have both a bilingual and English speaking therapist position available which services the following catchment area: Windham County, Middlesex county New London County and part of Hartford County located east of the river (Manchester, Vernon, Ellington, Windsor and surrounding towns).
NAFI CT offers a supportive and flexible work environment, extensive training and professional development opportunities. Therapists are also provided the use of company vehicles, a AAA membership, internal licensure supervision hours, annual $2,500 tuition reimbursement (this can be utilized towards more than just courses to include: outside supervision hours, study materials for your exam, exam fees, licensure application fees, CEC’s and professional memberships) in addition to the general agency benefits.
