The duties of a registered radiologic technologist include: Receiving, relaying and documenting verbal, written and electronic orders in the patient’s medical record, corroborating patient's clinical history with procedure, ensuring information is documented and available for use by a LIP.

Minimum Education Required
Associate’s degree Radiologic Technology
Graduate of a Program Radiologic Technology Required Skills
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire License - Certification - Registry required upon hire
Arizona Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE)
Radiology Technologist Certificate
American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) R.T. (R) (CT) Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
