Job Description

Havasu Regional Medical Center

The duties of a registered radiologic technologist include:  Receiving, relaying and documenting verbal, written and electronic orders in the patient’s medical record, corroborating patient's clinical history with procedure, ensuring information is documented and available for use by a LIP.

Reports to: Director of Outpatient Imaging

FLSA:  Non-exempt 

Job Requirements

Minimum Education Required
 Associate’s degree Radiologic Technology            

Graduate of a Program Radiologic Technology             Required Skills
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days of hire
License - Certification - Registry required upon hireArizona Medical Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners (MRTBE)
Radiology Technologist Certificate
American Registry Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) R.T. (R) (CT)               
Required Skills
 Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.
