Responsibilities

As a Client Service Infusion Specialist you will manage aspects of the home infusion business for our New York offices, including new patient intake and care coordination.  You will also be responsible for assisting with miscellaneous duties to ensure the efficient operation of the office.

Additional responsibilities:

  • Receives and coordinates home infusion referrals
  • Assigns qualified personnel competent to work the case
  • Complete service calls to patients ensuring customer satisfaction
  • Ensures orders are timely and filing is current
  • Leads branch recruitment efforts to include interviewing, hiring and orienting infusion nurses
  • Enters patients and schedules into ContinuLink
  • Tracks physician orders, case conferences, re-certifications, in-service and supervisory visits
  • Ensures the timely receipt of assessments and visit notes so they can be processed by the billing team
  • Orders and monitors medical supplies under direction of the supervising nurse and Branch Director
  • Ensures compliance with licensure and credentialing requirements
  • Files and maintains integrity of employee personnel files and client charts
  • Completes data entry as assigned
  • Counsels field employees involving violation of non-clinical matters
  • Initiates complaint and service failure reporting and investigation, including appropriate and ongoing resolution
  • Exemplifies AWESome company standards
  • All other duties as assigned
Qualifications

  • Two or more years of college preferred
  • At least one year of experience in home health care or medical staffing, with commercial insurance and private pay experience preferred
  • Experience should emphasize problem solving skills in a patient care setting
