Job Description

Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Winchester

This position manages installation and performs preventative maintenance, service repairs and installation of heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems.  Building automation systems to maintain ASHRA, OSHA, and indoor air quality standards.


Must be able to Trouble shoot, repair and maintain HVAC systems.  Trouble shoot and repair pneumatic controls.  Pm, repair and replace refrigerant based components.  Change filter in FCU or AHU.  Repair/PM ice machines, refrigerators and freezers.  Utilize work order system in all aspects, including ordering parts, printing work orders and looking up parts.  May assist other trades as needed/other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education:High School diploma, completion of GED or Equivalent.Graduate of a Program in Discipline, resulting in Journeyman HVAC-R certification, EPA Refrigerant License (Universal)Required Skills:Four years' experience in air conditioning and refrigeration.  Experience as maintenance and repair of refrigeration systems, digital controls, logic control panels and computer interface.  Commercial experience is preferred.Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.  Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. Licenses:Certifications:HVAC certification
