Human Resources Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a human resources manager, whose main priority is to hire and retain as many CAREGivers as possible. This position manages an HR assistant and 2 administrative assistants. Please call Ethan Boles with any questions. 540-213-7800 x112.

Responsibilities:
  • Hire as many CAREGivers as possible
  • Be part of the planning and implantation of company wide goals
  • Recruit applicants through different advertising channels including but not limited to: online, newspaper, job fairs/ in-person speaking, and TV ads
  • Participate in the annual evaluations of CAREGivers with the Nurse Manager
  • Perform annual evaluations of team members that report to you
  • Contribute to our monthly newsletter
  • Handle disciplinary issues with CAREGivers
  • Plan and manage 2 CAREGiver meetings (occurring in April and October annually) 
  • Other responsibilities to be assigned by the General Manger and the Owners
Qualifications:
  • BA/BS degree in  Human Resources or related field
  • 3+ years experience in HR
  • Experience with electronic applicant tracking systems (Applicant Stack preferred)
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder
Home Instead Senior Care sends CAREGivers to our clients' homes. We care for their personal care needs (bathing, dressing, toileting, feeding, transfers/ ambulation, grooming) and for what we call home helper needs (cleaning, meal prep, errands).

Each Home Instead franchise is independently owned and operated.
