Information Technology Communications and Change Management Specialist

Job Description

The IT Communications and Change Management Specialist is a member of Information Technology and reports to the AVP of IT Communication and Change Management. This role has overall responsibility for IT communications end to end, ensuring colleagues are kept up to date and informed of all IT service interruptions, changes and technology initiatives. The IT Communications and Change Management Specialist is involved in the daily operations of communications to ensure the established processes are adhered to and communications are sent in an appropriate manner and to the expected quality.
Responsibilities
Overall responsibility for IT service communications, supporting processes and process improvement
Participates in strategic planning and design of all relevant process improvement and change within the IT organization
Drafts communications, develops templates in order to communicate to colleagues and stakeholders in an effective and timely manner
Develops standard processes for communication in IT organization; responsible for ensuring IT teams follow standard procedures at all times in support of a high quality communication and collaboration experience
Manages multiple streams of communication across multiple IT Teams and via multiple communication medias
Works with communications teams (internal to Corporate IT and external to IT) to develop and agree to a proactive communications approach for Aveanna
Supports IT Leadership in coordination of management meetings and program status calls including support to draft meeting agenda, topics, producing presentations etc.
Collaborates with IT Project teams to develop communication and change strategies for large deployments; engages with teams as necessary in the field for testing and piloting of IT initiatives
Other duties as assigned

Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, English or other applicable area of study
4+ years of experience working in a communications capacity; healthcare experience a plus
Excellent written communication skills; ability to draft communication quickly, concisely and accurately that will be consumed by large populations and executive staff
Strong negotiation and consensus building skills when dealing with internal customers, stakeholders and team members
Proven ability to build credible customer relationships both in immediate team and across multiple customer group
Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment
