KVC is seeking a Behavioral Health Services Clinician/School Based Therapist/Social Worker to assess clients for the presence or absence of a mental health, substance use, or co-occurring disorder in school and community. The Behavioral Health Services Clinician/Therapist/Social Worker also assesses client’s readiness for change and identifies strengths and weakness which may affect the treatment and recovery process. The Behavioral Health Services Clinician/Therapist/Social Worker utilizes evidence-based practices in assessment and therapeutic service provisions with youth, family members, community partners, and designated others as specified in the Treatment Plan and provides psychotherapy as outlined in the Treatment plan to meet treatment needs and facilitate stabilization in the home, school and the community. The Behavioral Health Services Clinician/Therapist/Social Worker will treat, support and encourage individuals with a substance abuse use disorder, mental health disorder, or co-occurring disorders to achieve and maintain the highest possible level of health and self-sufficiency in the schools we serve.
