KVC is seeking a Family Specialist to provide direct services to the family targeted at reducing risks, improving child well-being, and preserving child placement with the family. The Family Specialist will carry out interventions outlined in the family’s service plan. The Family Specialist will participate in team meetings to connect with family and treatment team, assist in the development of treatment goals, and monitor progress toward goal achievement.
The Family Specialist must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work (or other related field) with ability to provide in home services to children and families and experience working with complex and multi-need families.
Funding for this position provided through the Cabinet for Health and Family Services with Kentucky State Funds and/or Federal Funds.
