Job Description

Haywood Regional Medical Center

Perform all blood draws, in-house tests, prepare samples to go to reference lab and/or Haywood Regional.  Maintain in-office lab following CIA/COLA guidelines. Enter lab results into system in a timely fashion and keep a failsafe system for any outstanding lab results. Maintains daily lab checks and cleanliness of the lab. Assists with patient care as indicated.

Job Requirements

Education :  High School graduate. Phlebotomy certification. Experience in Physician office lab or hospital lab. Medical terminology. Excellent grammatical skills and excellent customer service skills. CNA with phlebotomy certification or MOA required.
