Lead Imaging Technologist

Job Description

SageWest Health Care

Assumes responsibility for the daily operations of the Imaging department and the coordination with other hospital departments.  These include, but are not limited to, all staffing schedules, patient exam schedules, maintenance and quality control for imaging equipment. Maintains adequate supplies, addresses the physical environment and cleanliness for the area.  Assists with department orientation/training of staff and gives input into annual evaluations.  Interviews potential staff members.  Assists director with process improvement indicators and data collection, ensuring compliance with all regulatory agencies.  Will work in both campuses in order to bring continuity to SageWest. Performs real-time patient complaint management; along with communication and/or escalation to the Director.  Provides open communication with the Director or Nursing Supervisor in the absence of the director. Acts as the point person for PACS, verifying that there are no outstanding reports and troubleshooting issues within the PACS workflow.

Job Requirements

Required Licenses
[Wyoming, United States] Radiologic Technologists and Technicians
Must maintain current Radiological Technologist license in the state of Wyoming
Minimum Education
Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Registry (ARRT)

Required Skills
Current BLS certification through American Heart Association
Minimum Work Experience
Demonstrated ability to perform a broad range of diagnostic radiologic procedures required.
