Provides quality magnetic resonance imaging studies to include brain, spines, chest, abdomen, pelvis, breast, upper and lower extremities, joints, and mras for use by the Radiologist in diagnosis of patient illness.
Administers IV contrast media appropriately.
Performs MRI examinations and procedures as requested by the referring physician and Radiologist
Demonstrates extensive knowledge of the physics associated with magnetic resonance imaging and practices these dailyActs as a physician/staff consultant and educational resource for appropriateness and accuracy of scansAssists in scheduling patients n a manner which will optimize the use of equipment and facilitate the expeditious flow of patient trafficAssists in maintaining a professional and orderly working environmentAssists in the instruction of students as required by regulatory agencies, Raleigh General Hospital and the sponsoring educational institutionProvides age appropriate care to all patients sponsoring educational institution
