Job Description

SOVAH Health - Danville

To maintain all electrical utilities and related systems and equipment in a safe, cost-effective manner.  Directs the Emergency Management Operations of the hospital based on identified needs, guidelines, regulatory standards, priorities, and established goals.

Job Requirements

Minimum Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.

Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Requires flexibility in scheduling and ability to work all shift patterns including week-ends and holidays to insure appropriateness and continuity of care for the patients of Sovah Health Danville.

Required Skills
Certifications:
Certified Hospital Emergency Coordinator required.

Required Skills
Licenses:
Valid driver’s license required.

Required Skills
Troubleshooting motor controls, single and three phase electrical power distribution and industrial electronics. The ability to utilize resources, crisis management, and interpersonal skills

Minimum Work Experience
Minimum of five (5) years of experience in industrial electrical required
