Georgetown Community Hospital

The Manager for Occupational Health will direct and supervise the day-to-day operational functions of assigned clinics in accordance with federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations.


Performs plan of care intervention, including medication administration, specimen collection, clinical treatments, as well as other medical care treatment.

Documents patient care given.Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient, and family.Assists patients with performing activities of daily living, including personal hygiene, elimination, nutrition, and ambulation.Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient.

Job Requirements

  • Clinical background required, either LPN, RN, with previous industrial health/occupational medicine experience preferred, including performing worker’s comp exams, DOT physicals and drug screens, etc.
  • Minimum of three years clinic management preferred.  Knowledge of healthcare financial management, specifically medical practice accounting, third party reimbursement issues, patient flow and facilities management. Knowledge of healthcare administration systems.  Knowledge of governmental regulations and compliance. Highly proficient with Microsoft operating systems. Experience with EMR’s preferable. Excellent communication skills required.
