Providence SC Heart is currently looking for anexperienced Nuclear Med Tech to join our team.


EssentialFunctions

  • Schedules and coordinatespatient exams.

  • Prepares and injectsradiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures.

  • Processes diagnosticimaging procedures and records radiopharmaceutical administration to patients.

  • Receives and recordsappropriate information regarding receipt of radioactive materials andpharmaceuticals.

  • Requests and coordinatesall necessary patient information including medical chart, charge slips.

  • Performs quality assuranceprocedures on the equipment on a daily basis including daily/weekly surveys andwipe testing procedures as required.

  • Ensures compliance withthe radioactive materials licensure requirements.


Job Requirements

MinimumWork Experience

Minimum one-year experience in nuclear medicine.

 

MinimumEducation

Graduate of an AMA approved school of nuclear medicinetechnology.

 

RequiredLicenses

[South Carolina, United States] Radiologic Technologistsand Technicians


SCQRSA required and either ARRT or NMTCB


BLS Certification issued by the American HeartAssociation
