Schedules and coordinatespatient exams.
Prepares and injectsradiopharmaceuticals for diagnostic imaging procedures.
Processes diagnosticimaging procedures and records radiopharmaceutical administration to patients.
Receives and recordsappropriate information regarding receipt of radioactive materials andpharmaceuticals.
Requests and coordinatesall necessary patient information including medical chart, charge slips.
Performs quality assuranceprocedures on the equipment on a daily basis including daily/weekly surveys andwipe testing procedures as required.
Ensures compliance withthe radioactive materials licensure requirements.
