Provides primary and episodic care to patients-independentlyand in collaboration with other medical professionals-following standards andprotocols set by the sponsoring facility/Medical Director. Functions as amember of clinical team in maintaining patient flow and maximizing the deliveryof quality care to patients. Emphasizes health promotion and/or diseaseprevention through patient
education and coordination of care. Follows regulations andguidelines for writing prescriptions.
Minimum Experience: Two years previous professionalnursing experience with one to three year’s experience as a Nurse Practionerpreferred.
Certification/Licensure: Certified as a NursePractioner with current state licensure to include NM Controlled Substance, DEAlicense, and Board Certification. CPRcertification required.
Must be skilled in traditional nursing disciplines ofpatient assessment and management.
