Location: Emergency Department
Provides drug information to the medical and nursing staff upon request. Ensures appropriate pharmaceutical care is administered to patient in any part of Community Mercy Health Partners. These duties could include Outpatient, Inpatient, Hospice, Long Term Care, etc. Maintains and coordinates systems to ensure that pharmacy operations run efficiently on a day to day basis. Supervises technical pharmacy personnel involved in pharmacy operations. Assists in the implementation of quality control measures in order to identify and rectify problems. Performs duties of the technical staff as requested.
Education Required: Graduate of a College or School of Pharmacy accredited by the American Council on Pharmaceutical Education with either a Bachelors or PharmD.
License: Maintains Licensure in good standing as a Registered Pharmacist in the state of practice. Must be eligigle for licensure as a pharmacist in Ohio.
