HighPoint - Sumner Regional Medical Center
Evaluates and conducts medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs. Provides educational information to patients in regard to injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative therapy and rehabilitation therapy. Supervises physical therapy assistants and aides in performing treatment.
Reports to: Director - Rehab Services or Program Director - IRU & Restorative Care
Minimum Education
Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy - Required
Minimum Education
Master's degree - Preferred
Required Skills
Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Certifications:
BLS certification from approved American Heart Association training center must be obtained within 90 days of employment, if not current upon hire.

State of Tennessee Physical Therapist Licensure - Required
Minimum Work Experience
One year experience as Physical Therapist - Preferred
