Assists a Physical Therapist with a patient's rehabilitative activities to help reduce pain and improve mobility. The Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) assists the Physical therapists in the delivery of patient care by providing treatment to patients as determined by the Plan of Care created by the Physical Therapist that fall within the scope and documented competencies of the individual PTA; Assists other personnel with procedures that might require additional assistance; maintains regulatory compliance with any supervision requirements, and completes all necessary documention and billing within timeframes consistent with standards of practice and AZ statutes; performs other duties as assigned.
