Raleigh General Hospital


Treats medical, surgical, telemetry and oncology patients requiring nursing care, including assessment, problem identification, pre-operative assessment, pre and post operative care. Initiates life saving procedures, providing emergency care for each patient and palliative care to terminal patients.
Reports to: Department Director

Job Requirements

Minimum Education

 Graduate of a Program in Discipline Required


Required SkillsRequires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.CertificationsBasic Life Support (BLS) - to be obtained within 30 daysRequired Licenses[West Virginia, United States] Registered Nurses
