Bluegrass Community Hospital conveniently located just 12 minutes from Lexington has an exciting opportunity to join our team as a float Registered Nurse. This new PRN position would join our highly skilled staff at Bluegrass Community Hospital and Georgetown Community Hospital providing excellent direct patient care to all clinical departments. The highly skilled candidate must be able to competently float to all departments - Med/Surg, ED, ICU and OB. The candidate will provide direct patient care to patients using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice. Essential functions include performing plan of care interventions, including medication administration, speciment collection, clinical treatments as well as other medical care treatments. The candidate will document patient care given, monitor records and communicate patient condition as appropriate to care team, physician, patient and family. Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge and referral. Will work as an advocate for the physical emotional well-being of the patient. This vital position will monitor and manage patient care to secure optimal patient outcomes. Associate degree in nursing required - BSN Preferred
KY RN license - Required
BLS, ACLS and PALS - Required
TNCC - Preferred
