Title: Emergency Room Registered Nurse 

We are looking Registered Nurse to join the Emergency Room at St. Francis Hospital.  

The Registered Nurse will be responsible for performing plan of care intervention for patients as they enter the Emergency Room. This will include prioritizing care based on critical nature and severity of the patient’s condition and working as an advocate for the well-being of the patient. It is also key that the Registered Nurse be able to communicate with the different emergency room shifts and other units for continuity of care. 

Qualifications of the Emergency Room Registered Nurse: 

  • A minimum of 6 months of experience as a Registered Nurse in a direct care setting 

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program with a current GA Registered Nurse license  

  • Ability to obtain and maintain CPR certification 

  •  ACLS certification within 6 months of hire 

  • PALS certification within 6 months of hire 

Preferred Skills of the Emergency Room Registered Nurse: 

  • Basic computer skills 

  • Able to be flexible, organized and function under stressful situations
