Watertown Regional Medical Center

Watertown Regional Medical Center has a unigue opportunity for a Registered Nurse, Assocate Health and Infection Control.  This position coordinates, implements and evaluates the Infection Control and Employee Health programs. Collaborates with all departments and clinics to identify hazards and promote the health and safety of our patients and employees. Develops policies and procedures and provides education. Works with the community of Watertown as a resource for information to promote healthy infection control practices and raise awareness in infection prevention.  Full time, day shift.  

Job Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum of Associated Degree in Nursing, Bachelors preferred. Licensed by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing as a Registered Nurse. Three years related clinical nursing experience.
Understands and uses CDC definitions for nosocomial infections.
Able to accurately calculate statistical values.
Understands Joint Commission, OSHA and state regulations/standards and nursing policies and procedures.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills and behaviors.
Knowledge of hospital safety, infection control and human resources (as appropriate) procedures.
