The Respiratory Diagnostic Care Coordinator is responsible for all aspects of the diagnostic testing done in the Respiratory Care Department. These activities include pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopic examination assists, and maintaining CAP accreditation of ABG lab. Provides service to patients throughout the life span including newborns, children, adolescents, adults and geriatric groups.
Minimum Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
Minimum Experience: A minimum of two years recent experience in
diagnostic testing and/or demonstrated clinical proficiency.
Certification/Licensure: Currently licensed as an RCP in the State of New Mexico,
NBRC credential as a RRTand CPFT is preferred, current CPR required.
Maintains all requirements for state licensure on an annual basis.
