We want you on our team...Clark Regional Medical Center located in Winchester, a 15 minute drive from Lexington, KY is searching for a full-time, day shift, Registered Cardiac Cath Lab Tech to join our team!

Essential functions of position include, but are not limited to:

Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/healthcare errors.Ability to formulate an individualized plan of care, revise plan as indicated by the patient's response to treatment, and evaluation overall plan daily for effectiveness.Monitors, records, and communicates patient condition as appropriate to care team, provider, patient and family following chain of command as appropriate.Collaborates as needed across disciplines to coordinate patient care, including patient transfer, discharge, referral and spiritual/psychosocial support needs.Evaluates learning needs of patient and/or family and provides patient/family education appropriate to age, culture, condition, and circumstances.Works as an advocate for the physical and emotional well-being of the patient protecting patient's rights.

Job Requirements

Required Licenses

Radiologic Technologists and Technicians
License by the state of KY as a radiation operator

Registered by ARRT as a Radiologic Technolgoist

Required SkillsCertifications:

Maintain certification of CI and/or RCIS - preferred

BLS - Required

ACLS - obtained within 6 months of hireMust be able to meet requirements of departmental on call policy

.Required critical thinking skills, decisive judgement and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Minimum Work Experience

Minimum of one year experience in Critical Care

Minimum of one year experience in a Cardiac Cath Lab
