Job Description

Memorial Medical Center

Respiratory Care Student will provide care under directsupervision.  Responsible for performing all floor care assigned by the RTSupervisor or RT Charge Therapist once deemed competent.  Will provideservice to patients throughout the lifespan including newborns, children,adolescents, adults and geriatric age groups.  Respiratory Care Studentwill not be allowed to perform any invasive procedures such as nasotracheal suctioning,blood gases or care of ventilator patients. 



Job Requirements

Minimum Education:  Enrolled in a Respiratory TherapyProgram approved by the CoArc.


Minimum Experience:  Enrolled as a second yearRespiratory Care Student.


Certification/Licensure:  BLS.  Must test and passRRT within three months of graduation.  Must maintain New Mexico StudentLicense.
