STNA Personal Care Specialist FT - Newark Facility Team

Hospice of Central Ohio is a growing healthcare company seeking a full time Hospice aide in Newark. If you enjoy working with people, are proactive and have the desire to impact lives. This is your job!

As one of the first Medicare-certified hospices in central Ohio and as a non-profit, community-based organization, we are committed to providing care regardless of a patient's financial circumstance or complexity of care.

Compensation and Benefits: Hospice of Central Ohio offers competitive pay: mileage reimbursement, dental, vision, medical and retirement plan.

This position requires you to travel to different homes and facilities to provide personal and routine care, duties and procedures to assigned patients in order to enhance the patient's quality of life;

  • Personal care and assistance such as bathing and grooming
  • Meal preparation
  • Light housework
  • Assistance with therapeutic routine

Details for this position:

Monday through Friday, 8-hour shifts, with occasional weekends

Job Requirements

  • All candidates must be active and current on the Ohio State Tested Nursing Assistants registry.

  • Valid drivers license

  • Valid automobile insurance

  • High school graduate or five years of experience.

  • 1 year of experience preferred

  • MUST be very customer focused, this job requires a high level of customer service

  • Computer literacy and typing proficiency required
