Job Summary:


Underthe general supervision of the Radiology Services Manager and RadiologyServices Supervisor and direct supervision of the Lead Special ProceduresTechnologist and according to established policies and procedures, performsspecial radiologic procedures and examinations.  Work is of a confidentialnature.  Performs other work of the department as required.

Job Requirements:


An associate degree in Radiologic Science (orequivalent) and ARRT registration as a radiologic technologist in good standingrequired. One to two years of experience as a radiologic technologistpreferred. Registered (or registry eligible) in Interventional Radiology withcompletion of a formal Interventional Radiology training program required.Registration in Interventional Radiology must be obtained within first 12months of employment. The employee must have the ability to understand,communicate and react effectively to the unique needs of neonatal, pediatric,adolescent, adult and geriatric patients. CPR certification required and provided.
