Job Description

Southern Tennessee Regional Health System - Winchester

Responsible for the assessment of the patient prior toentering the Speech/Language Pathology Program. Shall possess the skills necessary to provide therapeutic speech on thepatients on the unit. 


Job Requirements

MinimumEducation:

Bachelor of Science in Speech/Language Pathology. 

 

RequiredSkills:

• Requires critical thinkingskills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimum supervision.

• Must be able to work in astressful environment and take timely, appropriate action.

 

Licenses / Certifications:

• Licensed as a Speech Pathologist in the State of Tennessee.

• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification required.

The hospital is Joint Commission-accredited and serves south-central Tennessee. The facility features a 10-bed ICU, a 12-bed Geriatric Psychiatry Unit, a 12-bed Inpatient Physical Rehab Unit, a Skilled Nursing Unit, Sleep Lab, Cardiac Cath Lab, five OR Suites and two Endoscopy Suites.
