Therapy Director:
Aveanna Healthcare is looking for an experienced therapist (PT, OT, or SLP) to manage, develop, direct and supervise all aspects of Therapy Operations. We administer therapy to patients on an intermittent basis in their place of residence and in our outpatient facilities. We work with children and their families to assist each child in reaching their goals to function independently and to promote active participation in home, school and community environments. We evaluate, create and provide individualized treatment for children who have difficulty with motor skills.
The Therapy Director is directly responsible for the supervision of the all therapy disciplines (PT, OT, or ST). As the pre-eminent provider of pediatric home care in the country, Aveanna is searching for talented individuals that desire to apply and build upon their qualifications and experiences.
Responsibilities Include:
• Supervise clinical operations of therapy program within a branch
• Provide direction to supervisors in terms of scheduling and building caseloads
• Evaluate patients with physical, psycho-social and/or cognitive impairments
• Provide intervention to deficits and elicit responses
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary team
• Execution of Quality Care to Clients
• Adherence to policies and procedures outlined by the state of practice
• Candidates will supervise other therapists: PT, OT, and ST
Job Qualifications:
• Degree in Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, or Speech Therapy from an accredited college
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Therapist
• Current Driver's License
• 2 plus years of Pediatric experience
• Management Experience
• One year of Neonatal experience, a plus
