Reporting to the Chief Administration Office (CAO), the VP of Aveanna’s Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) drives clinically compliant solutions that increase revenue, reduce costs, and improves employee/customer satisfaction within set budgets. This role is responsible for ensuring the proper prioritization, scoping, and delivery strategic business initiatives that align with investor and executive stakeholder goals.
Specifically, this role will lead 3 enterprise functions:
Portfolio and Program Management: Focused on ensuring on-time and on-budget delivery of strategic, complex projects that enable the grow, reduce costs, and prepare for IPO
Enterprise Solution Architecture: Focused on the analysis and solution design for company acquisitions and technology consolidations that drive the overall technology and organization roadmap for achieving strategic goals
Corporate Business and Technology Strategy: Collaborate with C-Suite and senior functional leadership to rationalize and drive execution of strategic projects that maximize business performance and position the company for an IPO
Essential Job Functions
Working with the ESC and other senior executives to define, prioritize, and oversee strategic business initiatives. (What are we doing, why are we doing it, how will we do it).
Collaborating with strategic initiative leads to determine solution options, expected costs, and developing recommendations for how to accomplish business goals within reasonable budgets (i.e. lightweight business case justification)
Providing facts to ESC and investors updates on how strategic initiatives are progressing and options/analysis for where Aveanna should be investing as we continue forward (based information collected from project outcome owners/drivers).
Facilitating discussion on how major capital and one-time expenses get budgeted and approved for merger integration and other non-merger strategic initiatives.
Setting up and managing a recurring executive level governance review and approval meeting/process to approve funding and formally acknowledge changes in scope and/or timelines (to support monthly board updates).
Ensuring that strategic initiatives align with and complement ongoing merger integration activities and expected outcomes.
Collaborating with Executive stakeholders to define and outline Aveanna’s strategy and execution plan for eventual electronic data exchange programs that are expected to evolve over the next 3-5 years.
Supporting scoping, negotiation, and contractual acceptance terms of select large vendor contracts in partnership with IT, IMO, and Operations leadership.
Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, information systems, business administration, or related field
A minimum of 10 years’ project management experience to include enterprise-wide and multiple concurrent projects of increasing complexity
Project management certification required
Ability to establish rapport, define expectations and gain commitment to project goals and deliverables
Knowledge of project planning techniques and automated project planning tools
Exceptional oral and written communication and presentation skills. Must be comfortable with professionally challenging key stakeholders at all levels of the organization. Must be able to exceptionally execute project communications
Ability to develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams
Strong understanding of the project management methodology
Prior healthcare experience strongly preferred
Must be able to adhere to confidentiality standards and professional boundaries at all times
